The Flight Home to Korea

Last-minute check of the boys' things before going into the airport
Joy and Dong Youl
We will miss you, DooSan!!!
It's not good-bye... it's "See you later!"
:)

We are Family!

Our "son for the summer" has become our brother forever. Praise God!

Acts 2:38 Peter replied, "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

Top left, DooSan is buried in baptism.
Second and third photos, Dong Youl's baptism.

DooSan Goes to the Zoo

We spent all day on Friday, August 10th at the Cincinnati Zoo. It was a really hot day, but there is so much shade there that it was bearable. There are also indoor exhibits (with air conditioning!) and some really neat African mask thingies that blow air and cool water at you, placed strategically throughout the zoo.
This was the only picture that I was able to take with our digital camera, but I hope to get more from Uncle Philip soon, so check back!

The Creation Museum!

DooSan checks out a display on Human origins. Whom do we trust, human reasoning or God's Word? DooSan, this isn't a relative of yours, now, is it?

DooSan helps with "crowd control" while the prophets of old look on. (Shown are: Isaiah, Moses, David, DooSan, Gracie, and Caleb).

This animatronic dinosaur was VERY realistic. I think Gracie wondered if one of us would be its next snack!

Gracie and Caleb astride a bucking dinosaur while DooSan helps them to stay aright.

Who says that dinosaurs and people didn't live at the same time? ; D

An unexpected privilege: we talked with Ken Ham, got his autograph on several of our bookstore purchases, and enjoyed this wonderful photo opportunity at the Noah's Ark Cafe'!

Visiting the Creation Museum was a wonderful way to spend one of our days in KY. Hope you can get there!

Day at NASCAR Speedway

Sunday, August 5th

Mr. Greg, Caleb, Kristin, and DooSan enter a heated competition!

Here you can just see Caleb's eager face... he loved doing this with his dad!
Waiting in line for yet another ride... thank goodness for those all-day tickets!
Caleb and Gracie, having fun at a few rides just their size. It was so cute to watch her toddle along behind him!
Fun in the bumper boats... these had some serious squirt guns on the front! It was such a hot day, I don't think anyone minded getting squirted, though. :)
A fun afternoon and a safe trip home... we are very thankful!

Myrtle Beach - Day in the Sand and Sea

Saturday, August 4th

DooSan plays with Mr. Greg's metal detector. (No, we didn't find anything; irony is, we lost something instead!)
Gracie loved the waves, the sand, the water... she had a blast!
Caleb had more sand toys than any kid on the beach. Here is just a small representation of his inventory!
Caleb and big brother DooSan, digging and building together.
We also enjoyed the pool and a trip to the mall, all in the same day!

School Day, 7/30/07

Big school day today! Here is DooSan, taking a little break. There is much for us to do and study before our trips to Myrtle Beach, Kentucky, and Ohio.
